You may have heard about the whole USDC/USDC.e shift that occurred in October 2023 and may be asking yourself - what is the difference and how does it impact me as a Skyweaver player?

What is now called "USDC" is a new token created by Circle. What used to be called "USDC", is now called "USDC.e". There's really no difference between the two other than who manages the liquidity of the token on Polygon. The USDC.e liquidity on Polygon is managed by the Polygon foundation, and the USDC liquidity on Polygon is managed by Circle itself.

In December 2023, Skyweaver migrated to the new USDC, in order to provide a more seamless experience to new and old users alike, going forward.

If you still have USDC.e on your wallet and would like to use it to make purchases in Skyweaver, simply use the "Swap" feature in Sequence to convert the tokens to the new USDC.
