  • What is the difference between USDC and USDC.e?
You may have heard about the whole USDC/USDC.e shift that occurred in October 2023 and may be asking yourself - what is the difference and how does it impact me as a Skyweaver player? What is now called "USDC" is a new token created by Circle. What used to be called "USDC", is now called "USDC.e". There's really no difference between the two other than who manages the liquidity of the token on Polygon. The USDC.e liquidity on Polygon is managed by the Polygon foundation, and the USDC liPopular
  • Getting 'insufficient fees' error when sending USDC on Arbitrum
If you're encountering an "insufficient fees" error when trying to send USDC on the Arbitrum network, it likely means that you have enough USDC in your wallet to cover the transaction amount but not enough Ethereum (ETH) to cover the gas fees required for the transaction to be processed on the Ethereum blockchain. When you're using decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms or layer 2 solutions like Arbitrum, you typically need to pay gas fees in ETH to interact with the Ethereum blockchain. Even tPopular
  • Are there fees when I buy USDC?
Yes. Third-party payment providers (Wyre, Moonpay and Ramp) charge a transaction fee for facilitating the exchange of fiat currency (e.g. USD, CAD, EUR, etc.) to USDC. For more details, please check their websites. If you have further questions, please feel free to start a conversation with any of our Customer Support Specialists. Some readers
  • Can the cards that I unlock during matches be traded or sold on the Market?

You can trade and sell both Silver and Gold cards on the Market. Some readers

  • What is Polygon (formerly Matic)?
Polygon (formerly Matic) is a sidechain (i.e. a secondary blockchain) connected to the Ethereum network, which enables greater scalability and faster transactions than the Ethereum network can currently process on its own. Any item that you own on Polygon can be ported to Ethereum, and vice versa. Some readers
  • Am I buying cards from other players or from Horizon in the Skyweaver Market?
Neither! You are not buying cards directly from Horizon, nor from other players individually. You are buying cards from the Skyweaver Market (powered by Sequence Market) that uses an automated liquidity protocol to determine the price of cards. You can learn more about the technical specifications of Sequence Market here: https://docs.sequence.xyz/solutions/marketplaces/overviewSome readers
  • How are you protecting my credit card information?

  • Why does Horizon nerf or buff cards in Skyweaver?
We modify cards based on players’ feedback and data to ensure our game is balanced; This means a card could be nerfed (i.e. its mechanical abilities could be reduced) or buffed (i.e. its mechanical abilities could be enhanced). A nerf or buff could impact the demand and price of a card on the Market. Occasionally, we may also make changes to card art in order to keep them updated and in line with the same theme and style. Some readers
  • What methods of payment will Skyweaver accept to buy cards in the Market?
Depending on your region, debit cards or credit cards can be used for purchases in the Skyweaver market. Other cryptocurrencies may be swapped to USDC and can then be used for purchases in the Skyweaver Market or Sequence Marketplace. Some readers
  • After I exchange USDC to fiat, how do I put it in my bank account? How do I withdraw it?

  • Can I convert USDC into USD (or another fiat currency) within Skyweaver?

  • Can my account get hacked?
Your account can be hacked if someone hacks your email address or social media account and uses it to sign into your Skyweaver account. As long as you keep your email or social media account safe, your account will not get hacked in this manner. In the future, we’ll add further security checks that would require a hacker to gain access to both your email/social media account and Horizon’s servers at the same time. Some readers
  • Are there transaction fees when I sell or buy a card on the Skyweaver Market?
There are transaction fees, but you will not have to pay them during Soft Launch. Every time a transaction occurs on the Matic Network or the Ethereum network (the underlying technologies that Skyweaver uses), a transaction fee, called a “gas fee”, is paid to help power the Matic Network. Horizon currently pays for these gas fees. In the future, you may be responsible for paying transactions fees, but we’ll let you know if and when that happens. Some readers

  • How do I send my items from Polygon (a.k.a the blockchain network Skyweaver uses) to Ethereum mainnet?
Your Sequence Wallet uses the same address (the series of numbers at the top of your wallet: 0x…) for both Polygon and Ethereum. However, in order for your Polygon items to appear on the Ethereum mainnet—you must move them. This is called bridging between networks and it incurs a network fee (or what’s known as a gas fee). Normally this “bridge” can be performed in the Sequence Wallet and completed in 2 transactions. The first transaction is done on the Polygon network and can take up to 3 hourFew readers
